U.S. Department of Energy Decides Not to Strengthen Energy Conservation Standards for Residential Dishwashers

The U.S. Department of Energy has determined that more stringent energy conservation standards for residential dishwashers would not be economically justified, and therefore will not amend its existing standards, eliminating an obsolete test procedure in the process.
