EPA Proposes Ban on Trichloroethylene Use in Aerosol Degreasing and Dry Cleaning Facilities

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a ban on the use of trichloroethylene (TCE) in aerosol degreasing and spot cleaning in dry cleaning facilities due to significant health risks associated with its use, citing unreasonable risks under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) § 6(a).
