DOL Issues Interim Final Regulation on Fee Disclosure for Employee Pension Benefit Plans

The Department of Labor has released an interim final regulation requiring service providers to employee pension benefit plans to disclose information to help plan fiduciaries assess the reasonableness of contracts or arrangements, including compensation and potential conflicts of interest, in order to exempt them from ERISA's prohibited transaction provisions.
