NMFS Adjusts Swordfish Permit Retention Limits for North Atlantic Regions

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is increasing the swordfish permit retention limit for commercial vessels in the Northwest Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, and U.S. Caribbean regions from January to June 2017, allowing for up to six swordfish per vessel per trip, unless otherwise notified.
