NOAA Transfers Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Quota and Adjusts Daily Retention Limit

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is transferring 16.3 metric tons of Atlantic bluefin tuna quota from the General category December 2017 subquota to the January 2017 subquota period, and adjusting the daily retention limit for commercial vessels to three large, medium, or giant fish. This action is based on in-season adjustments to the Atlantic tunas General category commercial permit and HMS charter/headboat permit.
