EPA Proposes Approval of Georgia's Plan to Reduce Ozone Pollution in Atlanta Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve the State of Georgia's plan to maintain the 2008 8-hour ozone standard in the Atlanta, Georgia 2008 8-hour ozone nonattainment area, and redesignate the area to attainment, following a request submitted by the Georgia Environmental Protection Division in 2016.
