Pipeline Safety Agency Maintains Random Drug Testing Rate at 25 Percent for 2017, Provides Alternative Reporting Method for Contractors

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) has confirmed that the minimum random drug testing rate for covered employees will remain at 25 percent for calendar year 2017, while also introducing a new reporting method for contractors performing or ready to perform covered functions, which can be accessed through the PHMSA Portal (https://portal.phmsa.dot.gov/pipeline)
