FAA Extends Prohibition on Certain Flights Within Damascus FIR
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has extended the prohibition on certain flights within the Damascus Flight Information Region (FIR) to include all U.S. air carriers, commercial operators, and U.S.-registered aircraft operators, except for foreign air carriers operating U.S.-registered aircraft. This action aims to mitigate a potential hazard to persons and aircraft involved in these flight operations.
