Safran Helicopter Engines Issues Airworthiness Directive for Arriel 2B and 2S2 Turboshaft Engines

Safran Helicopter Engines, formerly Turbomeca S.A., is issuing an airworthiness directive to correct an unsafe condition on certain Arriel 2B and 2S2 turboshaft engines, following a report of an uncommanded in-flight shutdown caused by a gear rupture in the engine accessory gearbox.
