US Department of Agriculture Announces New Market Facilitation Program Payments to Farmers

The US Department of Agriculture has released a new Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) for the Market Facilitation Program (MFP), which provides financial assistance to farmers whose commodity exports have been negatively impacted by foreign governments. The new payment rates for selected commodities will be calculated based on eligible production and the participant's share.
