University of Maryland's Reactor License Renewed for 20 Years

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted the University of Maryland a 20-year renewal of its Facility Operating License No. R-70, allowing the university to continue operating its Maryland University Training Reactor, a TRIGA reactor used for training, research, and isotope production.
