US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company for Vogtle Electric Generating Station

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, allowing a departure from the certification information of Tier 1 of the generic design control document for the Vogtle Electric Generating Station Units 3 and 4, and issuing License Amendment No. 60 to Combined Licenses NPF-91 and NPF-92.
