Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. Receives NRC Exemption for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Modifications

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. to deviate from certification requirements for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 3 and 4, allowing for the relocation of an air-cooled chiller pump, as part of a broader License Amendment.
