Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. Receives NRC Exemption for Vogtle Electric Generating Station Upgrades

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. to deviate from certification requirements for the Vogtle Electric Generating Station Units 3 and 4, allowing for changes to the fire pump head and diesel fuel day tank systems.
