Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. Receives NRC Exemption for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Changes

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. to allow changes to the certification information of the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) Units 3 and 4, as part of License Amendment No. 67 to Combined Licenses (COLs) issued to multiple entities, including Georgia Power Company and the City of Dalton, Georgia.
