US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemption to Southern Nuclear for Vogtle Plant Containment Hydrogen Igniter Changes
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. to deviate from certification information for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 3 and 4, allowing changes to the containment hydrogen igniter system.
