US Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Consider Approvals for Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station Waste Disposal

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission is considering issuing approvals for Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. to dispose of low-activity radioactive waste from the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station, and for US Ecology Idaho to receive byproduct radioactive materials without a license.
