U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Amendment to Spent Fuel Storage Regulations

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has confirmed the effective date of April 25, 2017, for a direct final rule that amended the agency's spent fuel storage regulations, adding Amendment No. 14 and Revision 1 to the Initial Certificate for the AREVA Inc., Standardized NUHOMS Cask System.
