U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Holtec International Spent Fuel Storage System
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has amended its regulations to include Holtec International's HI-STORM Flood/Wind Multipurpose Canister Storage System, allowing for burnup credit for certain fuel types and revising conditions for the storage of spent nuclear fuel.
