U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemptions to South Texas Project for Risk-Informed Analysis

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted exemptions to the South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company to use a risk-informed analysis to evaluate the effects of debris in containment following a loss-of-coolant accident, in response to a request from the company in 2013.
