US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Considers Amendment to Renewed License for Southern Nuclear Company's Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission is considering an amendment to the renewed facility operating license for Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, which would revise the implementation date for transitioning to a new fire safety standard, NFPA 805, and determine that the license amendment request involves no significant hazards consideration.
