U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System for Spent Fuel Storage

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has approved the Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System for spent fuel storage, following the publication of two direct final rules on January 6, 2016, and March 14, 2016, which amended the system's listing and included minor corrections to its technical specifications.
