U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Amendment Request for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering approval of an amendment request for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3, which involves no significant hazards consideration and contains sensitive unclassified non-safeguards information (SUNSI). The NRC has imposed procedures for access to SUNSI to prepare for contention.
