NHTSA Denies Petition to Revise School Bus Safety Standard

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has denied a petition submitted by Mr. William H. Thompson III to revise Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108, which governs the safety of school buses, regarding the activation process for red and amber signal warning lamps on school buses.
