Jaguar Land Rover Secures Exemption for Range Rover Velar from Federal Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has granted Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC's petition for exemption from the Federal Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard, allowing the Range Rover Velar vehicle line to forego the installation of an anti-theft device as standard equipment in favor of marking parts with a unique identifier.
