NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 2007 Jeep Wrangler MPVs

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has accepted a petition to allow the importation of model year 2007 Jeep Wrangler Multipurpose Passenger Vehicles that do not meet all federal safety standards, as long as they are substantially similar to U.S.-certified versions and can be modified to comply with regulations.
