NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 2005 Chevrolet Corvette Passenger Cars

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has accepted a petition from a company requesting that certain model year 2005 Chevrolet Corvette passenger cars, which do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, be allowed to be imported into the US due to their substantial similarity to US-certified vehicles and their ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
