Cooper Tire has been granted a decision by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that a noncompliance issue with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 139 is inconsequential to motor vehicle safety, following a petition filed on May 21, 2018.
