DoD, GSA, and NASA Propose Amendment to Federal Acquisition Regulation for Exception on Certified Cost or Pricing Data Requirements

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are proposing to update the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to provide guidance on an exception to certified cost or pricing data requirements for acquisitions where prices are based on adequate price competition, as mandated by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017.
