The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection is adjusting the asset-size exemption threshold for banks, savings associations, and credit unions under Regulation C, increasing it to $46 million due to a 2.6% rise in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers. As a result, institutions with assets of $46 million or less as of December 31, 2018, will be exempt from collecting data in 2019.
