Request for Information Regarding Potential Regulatory Changes to the Remittance Rule

The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection is seeking information and evidence to inform possible changes to the remittance rule, which protects consumers sending international money transfers, and may mitigate the effects of a statutory exception set to expire on July 21, 2020, unless Congress intervenes.
