US FCC Proposes to Eliminate Main Studio Rule for Broadcast Stations

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has proposed to repeal its rule requiring each AM, FM, and television broadcast station to maintain a main studio in or near its community of license, citing that the rule is outdated and burdensome for stations.
