FCC Announces OMB Approval of Channel Sharing Rules

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has announced that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has approved its rules for channel sharing by full power and Class A stations outside of the broadcast television spectrum for a period of three years. The approved rules require sharing stations to file applications, include a copy of their channel sharing arrangement with their construction permit application, and provide notice to multichannel video programming distributors.
