FCC Grants CTIA Petition to Reconsider WEA Rules, Denies CCA Request

The Federal Communications Commission has granted the CTIA's petition to reconsider its recent decision to revise the Wireless Emergency Alert rules, extending the compliance timeframe for 'clickable' embedded references to 30 months for most carriers, while denying the Competitive Carrier Association's request for a waiver or extension of time for geo-targeting requirements.
