FDA Announces Guidance on Foreign Supplier Verification Program for Live Animal Imports

The FDA is releasing a guidance document to clarify its enforcement discretion regarding the application of the Foreign Supplier Verification Program Regulations to importers of certain live animals, primarily those requiring slaughter and processing at USDA-regulated or State-inspected facilities.
