FDA Clears Plasma-Lyte M and Dextrose 5% for Sale

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ruled that two IV fluids, Plasma-Lyte M and Dextrose 5%, and Plasma-Lyte 148 and Dextrose 5%, are safe for sale and will not be withdrawn from the market due to safety or effectiveness concerns.
