FDA Clears REGITINE (Phentolamine Mesylate) Injection for Continued Sale

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has officially stated that REGITINE (Phentolamine Mesylate) Injection, 5 milligrams per vial, and other related pharmaceuticals were not withdrawn from the market due to safety or efficacy concerns, allowing the FDA to continue approving abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) for these products as long as they meet regulatory requirements.
