Coast Guard Awards Certificates of Alternative Compliance to Special Vessels

The US Coast Guard has issued certificates to vessels with unique construction or purposes, allowing them to operate under modified signal requirements while maintaining their specialized functions, in support of maritime safety and stewardship.
