Coast Guard Proposes Permanent Safety Zone for Fireworks Display in Verdigris River

The U.S. Coast Guard is proposing to establish a permanent safety zone in the Verdigris River in Oklahoma to protect people and vessels from potential hazards during an annual fireworks display, which is scheduled to take place between late June and early July 2016 and recur annually thereafter.
