U.S. Extends Temporary Protected Status for El Salvador for 18 Months

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has extended the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for El Salvador for 18 months, from September 10, 2016, through March 9, 2018, allowing currently eligible beneficiaries to retain their status until March 9, 2018, as long as they meet the eligibility requirements.
