U.S. Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone Along Houma Navigation Canal

The U.S. Coast Guard is setting up a temporary safety zone along the Houma Navigation Canal in Louisiana, from mile markers 23 to 23.5, to safeguard personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards caused by a bridge replacement project. Entry into the zone is restricted, except for authorized personnel or vessels, and requires permission from the Captain of the Port Morgan City or a designated representative.
