Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone on Illinois River

The U.S. Coast Guard has created a temporary safety zone along the Illinois River, spanning from mile 69.3 to 69.8 near Meredosia, IL, to safeguard against potential hazards from power line construction across the river, and to restrict vessel entry unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Upper Mississippi River.
