US Extends Employment Authorization for Syrian F-1 Students Experiencing Economic Hardship

The US government has extended and expanded an earlier notice suspending certain F-1 student requirements for Syrians affected by civil unrest since 2011, now covering students who obtained F-1 status between March 2011 and September 2016.
