US Department of Homeland Security Adopts Electronic Format for Form I-94 Arrival/Departure Record

The US Department of Homeland Security has finalized a rule to transition the issuance of the Form I-94 to an automated electronic process, building on interim amendments published in 2013, which allow for the creation of the document based on electronic passenger, passport, and visa information obtained from airlines, the Department of State, and immigration inspections.
