Department of Justice Adjusts Civil Monetary Penalties for Inflation

The Department of Justice is updating civil monetary penalties to account for inflation, following the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015, for penalties assessed after January 30, 2023, related to violations after November 2, 2015.
