ATF Seeks OMB Approval for Firearms Registration Information Collection

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), part of the Department of Justice (DOJ), is requesting OMB approval for a new information collection related to the registration of firearms acquired by certain government entities. This request follows a previously published notice in the Federal Register on May 15, 2023, which allowed for a 60-day public comment period.
