Department of Justice Proposes Regulations for Child Protection Improvements Act

The Department of Justice is proposing new regulations to help authorized entities access national criminal history background checks for determining an individual's fitness to care for vulnerable populations, as required by the Child Protection Improvements Act of 2018.
