EPA Lodges Proposed Consent Decrees for Environmental Cleanup

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has lodged proposed consent decrees under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), and the Oil Pollution Act (OPA) for several companies, including ExxonMobil and Chevron, in response to environmental contamination at various sites.
