Tennessee Valley Authority Completes Inventory of Human Remains and Associated Funerary Objects

The Tennessee Valley Authority has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects, in consultation with federally recognized Indian tribes, and has determined that a cultural affiliation between the remains and tribes can be reasonably traced. Lineal descendants or representatives of unlisted tribes can submit a written request to TVA for transfer of control of the remains and objects.
