Tennessee Valley Authority Completes Inventory of Human Remains, Requests Transfer to Federally Recognized Indian Tribe

The Tennessee Valley Authority has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects, concluding that a cultural affiliation with present-day federally recognized Indian tribes cannot be reasonably traced. Representatives of unidentified tribes can submit a written request to TVA for transfer of control.
